  1. Verification of your candidate's identity (This is the crucial first step in the employment screening process.)

  2. Verification of his/her Social Security Number (Has your candidate used other social security numbers in the past? - an indication of possible fraudulent activity.)

  3. Present and Past Addresses (Has your candidate omitted a past address from his/her application or resume? If so, why? - a possible red flag needing an explanation.)

  4. Education Verification (A common source of resume fraud. We verify date of graduation and degree or degrees received.)

  5. Employment Verification (Up to four past employers)

  6. Bankruptcy/Tax Liens Search (A non-intrusive indicator of financial difficulties. This is a public records search.)

  7. Sexual Offender/Terrorist Database Searches (We search the nationwide Sexual Offender Registry and the OFAC Terrorist Database.)

  8. Criminal Records Searches.(To ensure full compliance with the Fair Credit Employment Act, we conduct two separate criminal records searches: an on-site County search and a nationwide database search. We search for misdemeanors, felonies, and DUIs.)

  9. Civil Records Search (An important lifestyle indicator. Has your candidate been sued within the past seven years?)

  10. Professional License Verifications (We verify all claims of licenses and professional certifications.)

  11. Corporate Affiliations (Has your candidate been a corporate officer or owned his/her own incorporated business?)

  12. Military Service Records (If your candidate can not provide documentation of his/her service rank and dates of service – i.e., DD Form 214 – we will order this documentation through the National Personnel Records Center.)

Our criminal records search (see item #8, above) should list DUI convictions, if any; however if you wish to receive a complete Driving Record appended to your report (listing all driving offenses for the past seven years), please check the corresponding box on Order Form.
